NZPICS has a number of experienced tutors who deliver our classroom courses in Auckland and around NZ.

Dan Cater CPIM, CSCP - Consultant - Dan Cater & Associates Ltd

Dan has worked in the IT industry for over 40 years, including 16 years at IBM where he won awards for the courses he taught in New Zealand and overseas. He qualified as CPIM in 1989 when he was the Systems Engineer assigned to several manufacturing and distribution customers, and has been teaching CPIM in Auckland since 2007.

Denzil Rodrigues BE (Electronics), PG Diploma Materials Management, CPIM, CSCP - Tutor

Denzil has been a supply chain practitioner for over 20 years, his work experience spans across the Indian sub-continent and New Zealand and across a range of industries including IT distribution, agricultural herbicides and lubricant and petroleum specialties. He currently is the National Supply Chain Manager for Ingram Micro New Zealand.

He completed his CPIM and CSCP in 2007, being the first in New Zealand to gain a CSCP certification outside of the NZPICS committee. Denzil has been tutoring CPIM courses since early 2008.

Felix Haslimeier PostGradDip (Int. Business) CPIM, CSCP, CDDP, PMP – Consultant – FHA Consulting Limited

Felix has a finance and IT background and 20 years of experience in the building, manufacturing, publishing, financial services and IT industry across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He is also a Certified Demand Driven Planner (CDDP) and a certified project manager (PMP, PRINCE2 and AgilePM). Felix is also a certified trainer for The Fresh Connection.

After completing his CSCP in 2006 and CPIM in 2011, Felix completed the APICS Train the Trainer & Learning Dynamics for Instructor courses in 2013 and began teaching with NZPICS in early 2014.

Felix came to New Zealand in 1997 and spent 8 years with Sleepyhead Manufacturing before going out on his own. He is now working as an independent ERP & Supply Chain consultant assisting companies with the implementation of IT systems, business transformation and improvement projects and project management in the Supply Chain space.

Ian Phillips CPIM, CSCP - Consultant

Ian has had a wide experience dealing with finance, manufacturing, purchasing, service, quality systems, information technology, websites, ERP Systems selection and implementation, strategy and planning. After a long career working in a number of varied organisations, he is now an independent consultant assisting many SME companies in improving their business processes, systems and people.

After completing his CPIM in 2009, APICS Train the Trainer &Learning Dynamics for Instructor courses, Ian has contributed to some NZPICS Roadshow events and began tutoring with NZPICS in early 2010.

John Marson BSc (Hons) (Chem Eng), MSc (Chem Eng), MBA (Cum Laude), CFPIM, CIRM, CSCP - Consultant - A.L.T

John has been involved with PICS organisations both in NZ and overseas since 1983, and has served two terms as president of NZPICS. Currently he is also on the APICS International Sub Committee for the development of APICS outside the US - together with representatives from Brazil, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Russia and a number of senior APICS personnel.

He has held senior management positions in companies such as Mars and Unilever. He has extensive consulting experience in a wide range of manufacturing and service organisations in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. As part of his master's thesis in business, he worked with Toyota to assess and predict the impact of the personality of the CEO on corporate culture, planning systems and succession planning.

He developed the original Operations Management Diploma Course for the University of Auckland, and has also lectured for RMIT (Australia) on a Master's degree course in Logistics.

He is currently with A.L.T., a consulting and training company, working in New Zealand and overseas.

He is one of the few APICS registered Master Instructors for CPIM and CSCP. He is also a registered Master Instructor for the APICS  Train the Trainer & Learning Dynamics for Instructor  courses.

Pat O'Donnell, CPIM, Tutor

Pat O'Donneell works in the FMCG sector and has been tutoring CPIM courses.

Stuart Sheng MBA, PostDip (Fin Economics), CPIM, CSCP - Tutor

Stuart has been in the supply chain profession for over 10 years. His experience includes production planning, merchandise planning, and demand planning in retail and FMCG industries.

Currently he is Senior Demand Planner working in Fonterra Brands. Stuart has served on the NZPICS Committee since 2012. He currently chairs the Education Sub-committee. Stuart has been tutoring CPIM courses in 2010.

Simon Oh, CPIM, Tutor

Simon Oh works in the dairy sector and is an NZPICS tutor

Vishnu Rayapeddi, B.Pharmacy (Honours), MBA (Ops.), Lean and Six Sigma Certified, CSCP, CLTD - Consultant and Tutor

Vishnu has worked in the manufacturing and supply chain industry for well over 30 years (23 years in NZ) and has also worked as a Lean and Supply Chain Consultant / Coach./Trainer Vishnu's specialities are S&OP, Demand Management, Inventory Management and others in Supply Chain and all aspects of Lean and Process Improvement. Vishnu worked on NZPICS committee for a few years and currently helps NZPICS as their Client Solutions Manager.
