 About the role

This is a new role with responsibility for production planning and scheduling at two separate production sites (Havelock and Tauranga) while based at the Havelock facility. You will also be in charge of supply planning and the purchase of packaging materials. In addition, you will be involved in monitoring inventory levels and undertaking site capacity planning

 Skills and attributes

A background in Production Planning and Purchasing is required, preferably from a food manufacturing or similar organisation where the inputs are variable.  As you will be liaising extensively with both internal and external stakeholders the ability to build effective relationships is critical. You will have excellent time management skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Superior analytical skills gained within an ERP environment (NV, AX, SAP or similar), along with top Excel skills are essential.
