Significant investment has enabled this progressive company to establish a lead position in the international market. Their products are of the highest quality and they continually look to do things better within. They are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join their growing team.

The role

Collaboration with internal customers is vital in this role to ensure the supply chain process runs smoothly. The purpose of this role is to provide on going support to meet the production demands of this growing company.  It goes without say that this person will be the expert in demand planning and creating efficient production plans.

Experience and attributes

Suitable candidates will have a relevant experience in Purchasing and/ or Planning based role in a FMCG company with proven inventory control.  Additionally you must have strong computer skills and advanced experience in negotiation and supply chain management.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes and skills:

  • Experienced in planning and systems development/improvement.
  • Previous hands-on experience with Purchasing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional customer focus and communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Proven ability to work accurately with exact attention to details.
  • Tertiary qualification in Operations, Supply Chain Management or relevant fields would be beneficial
