The opportunity

Our client is a New Zealand owned and operated business that is enjoying rapid growth in both the domestic and export markets. They are widely regarded as the global leader in their field and use only the cleanest, most natural ingredients sourced locally in their products.  We are on the hunt for a Planning and Logistics Manager to manage the end to end supply chain of the business.

 The role

This role is challenging but will also be rewarding.  It is pivotal to improving and maintaining excellence within the planning and fulfilment of the growing needs of the organisation as a producer of premium products. 

Duties will include:

  • Managing the end to end supply chain of the business.
  • Conducting extensive and ongoing reviews of all logistic and supply chain partners
  • Co-ordinating and overseeing the management of price and contract negotiations with existing & new suppliers.
  • Development of the Planning and Logistics systems and processes to ensure they meet good practice standards.
  • Working closely with the QA team to ensure all materials meet specifications at a high standard.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business customers to define any forecasted Planning & Logistics activity

You will possess strong communication skills and a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience and the desire to lead the success of a production operation are essential.
