The role

The company’s reputation as a preferred supplier to New Zealand’s manufacturing sector is reliant to its ability to deliver the highest level of customer service hence the customer service team is an integral part of the organisation.

As a Customer Service Administrator your focus is to provide excellent customer service at all times to both external and internal customers. Specifically, you will use your problem solving and organisational skills to answer telephone inquiries, process orders, prepare quotations and reports and monitor stock levels. Although responsible for a specific portfolio of products, you’ll provide back-up to your CSR and Sales colleagues – which means working across a wide and varied range of products, customers and industry sectors.

Experience and attributes

  • Relevant experience in a Customer Service or Sales Administrator role;
  • Experience in processing orders and monitoring inventory transactions, responding to customer needs and complaints without following a script;
  • You’ll have a fantastic memory and a high attention to detail;
  • You have the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks;
  • You’re recognised for your positive, friendly and customer centric personality and great phone manner;
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic and assertive.
  • You’ve used a range of different CSR systems and are highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and data entry.
