 About the role

Under the guidance of an experience Operations Manager and working closely with the Finance Manager here is a role that combines both hands-on and analytical functions. It will include:

  • Supply planning and inventory management (analysis, forecasting, stock taking and purchasing) of imported finished products.
  • Coordinating stock replenishment of stock into Australian warehouse based on sales forecasts, inventory and promotions.
  • Monitoring in-bound raw materials to ensure accuracy of supply.
  • Inventory control – managing cycle counting process, conduct stock reconciliation and RCA.
  • Organise in / out bound containers.

While you’ll be dividing your time between the office and the warehouse this is not a sedentary role. This is a fast-paced FMCG environment requiring considerable energy and drive. You will be expected to take responsibility, analyse information, make informed suggestions and relate to people at all levels of the company.

Skills and Attributes

You will:

  • Have a couple of years working experience in a similar role in the food industry although consideration will be given to exceptional recent graduates keen to embark on a career in supply chain.
  • Be proficient in the use of Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • Have a hands-on approach and be confident in a production or warehousing environment.
  • Be a go getter with excellent communication skills.
  • Have great attention to detail and problem solving skills.
