The opportunity

Looking for life/work balance or wanting to get back into the workforce? This is a great opportunity for an experienced demand/supply planner to represent this established and successful brand on a part-time basis. Early starts to avoid the traffic and home at lunchtime.

The role

You will be based at the customers' offices in Mangere and responsible for the baseline and promotional demand forecasts for a range of products supplied to the customer distribution centres. This is an autonomous role reporting to the NZ Supply Planning Manager and responsible for managing the relationship, monitoring and controlling the stock levels and delivering the service level targets.

Skills and experience

The company seeks an experienced Planner who can hit the ground running, and have the following:

  • Knowledge of inventory management and (sales) planning within a retail environment (vendor management ideal).
  • Experience with managing key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen.
  • Customer service and continuous improvement focused.
  • Attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Computer literate - minimum intermediate level skills with replenishment (ERP) systems and MS applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).
