The role
In this inventory management role you will assist the Inventory team to implement and maintain optimum stock levels of all goods and related materials including consumables and spare parts. You will manage the control, planning and distribution of all goods, including purchasing, management of Material Master Date, and monitoring inventory stock levels and vale as determined by the business. Your role will include:

  • Management of the inventory team.
  • Inventory management and supply planning, working with long import lead times and ensuring replenishments are managed.
  • Review stock forecasts and raise finished goods orders against forecast.
  • New vendor management.
  • Proactively identifying areas for inventory efficiencies and improvements to be made.  

Skills & experience

You have sound analytical skills and have experience with purchasing and inventory management. Also you:

  • Are experienced with Excel and confident with ERP systems. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of MM and SD modules in SAP.
  • Have people management skills and ability.
  • Take initiative to get involved and get things done.
  • Have an eye for detail and are well organised.
  • Have well develop verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively to a wide range of people.
  • Are tertiary qualified in a relevant field will be highly regarded.
