[UoA] The Impact of COVID-19 on NZ Supply Chains and Actions to Take

    April 16, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

    • NZPICS Webinar Series: Lessons Learned from the COVID-19 Epidemic »

Please join us on Thursday 16 April on Zoom for our second in a series of weekly webinars on the current global situation with a focus on supply chains. Mark Singh, Founder & CEO of IndusHaze Advisory Limited will present: The Impact of COVID-19 on NZ Supply Chains and Actions to Take.

The webinar will cover the significant and widespread impacts of COVID-19 on supply chains including:

    • Supply shortages of goods and materials coming from impacted areas
    • Labour shortages due to lockdowns, quarantines, illness or travel bans
    • Logistic hub limitations and difficulty finding alternative routes
    • Changes in consumer behaviour and reductions in spending due to fear of exposure

This crisis offers another urgent reminder of the complexities and criticality of supply chain risk management. Smart organisations are stepping back to consider how they can build more resilient supply chains should another wave of the crisis hit. In this session, he will provide a digitally enabled enterprise strategy, frameworks and approaches for preparing for the unpredictable.
