Strategic Supply Chain Management Programme: Preparing Supply Chain Leaders for the C-Suite
Co-designed with the Centre for Supply Chain Management and leading NZ business executives, this experiential programme actively develops mid to senior career professionals from various parts of the supply chain into strategic supply chain leaders.
If you are looking to move into more senior supply chain roles our Strategic Supply Chain Management Programme may be for you. As one of our C-Suite programmes, it is designed to produce mindset shifts and greater understanding of the thinking and action needed in GM or other senior level roles. Participants from across our four C-Suite programmes (CIO, CFO, Supply Chain and Strategic People) work together across certain ‘combined’ components of the programme, developing the strategic, whole-of-business mindset that is the platform for success in C-Suite roles.
The programme is designed for busy working professionals. It is set across four modules, held over 5 months. The programme is conducted on-site at the University of Auckland Business School Campus except for site visits through the programme.
The expected time commitment outside of the module components involves work on a strategic project, mentoring sessions, peer coaching, reflection on learning and pre and post readings.
Strategic Project
In addition to the modular content and with the support of a mentor and your organisational sponsor, you will identify a project of strategic value to you and your organisation. This project work aims to build leadership capability across the organisation, in particular, thinking strategically, influencing and working successfully across the business. It can be of immediate value and ensures your programme learning is embedded by applying it to real issues in your own organisation.
