For those on your CPIM journey and enrolled for the CPIM 7.0 (started or completed CPIM Part 1 and or enrolled or planning to enrol for CPIM Part 2), we strongly encourage you to familiarise with your CPIM exam timeframe.
The current CPIM Ver 7.0 consisted of two parts, part 1 and part 2. To gain a CPIM qualification one needs to successfully complete both parts i.e. Part 1 & 2 exams. Come 2023 the CPIM ver 7.0 is to be revised to CPIM ver 8.0 (combine CPIM Part 1 & 2).
Key Timelines for CPIM Ver 7.0 participants
Jan 31, 2023- Last date to purchase CPIM Part 1 learning systems (APICS textbooks) and exams credits.
April 30, 2023 – last date to purchase CPIM Part 2 learning systems (APICS textbooks) and exams credits
July 31, 2023 – last date to purchase CPIM Part 2 – ATT (authorization to test)
February 1, 2024 – Last date to appear for the CPIM Part 2 exams.
Tentative dates for 2023 Instructor led programs
CPIM Part 2 (Ver 7.0 legacy) – Only 2 Instructor led sessions in 2023
Term 1 – February 21st – May 23rd, 2023
Term 2 – June 1st – September 1, 2023.
We also strongly encourage you to consider the impact to your testing timeframe, including the time you have available to prepare for your exam, the possibility of needing to retake an exam (in case of a retake there is a 14 day stand down period before one retakes his/ her exam), testing centre availability, etc. The last day to sit for the CPIM version 7.0 exams is February 1, 2024
If you are planning to complete your CPIM Part 2 under ver 7.0 you must enroll for the program on our before 1st April 2023.

Post the sunset date if one hasn’t completed the CPIM ver 7.0 will need to restart their CPIM journey by enrolling for CPIM ver 8.0
